I was driving back from the beach the other day and I almost died. I happened to look down and notice that there was a bee on my leg, which erased all priorities from my mind including steering the car which was traveling 55 miles per hour down a two-lane ...

I went to a wedding in Avon Connecticut this weekend. The groom was a great guy named Robbie I have known since I was 3. I got to talk to all sorts of interesting people about topics ranging from St. John's College to entomology.
Robbie's mom is an entomologist who works ...

I've seen some Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs before, they are great shows. I just got done watching Man vs. Wild which is pretty cool also. I don't know how useful it will be, but I just might get lost in the amazon rain forest one day...
(For best results, turn off ...

The new iPhone commercials look really good. I'm most excited about the ability to find a place nearby with Google and dial that number. My guess is that the iPhone locates you using cell phone tower triangulation. It wouldn't really even need triangulation. As long as you had a signal ...

I dropped by the old school to see SJC sweep the Naval Academy. It was a good time, seeing old friends, meeting new ones, and going back to Ramshead for $2 pints.
I got to (try to) dance and play a little St. John's College Soccer.

I drove down to Austin, Texas with Lord Thomas, Sir Robert, and Adam and we demolished LT and Sir's mom's burnt down house. A neighbor complained to the health department, and the city is threatening to clean the land off and sell it to pay for the cleaning.
Before
After... I don't ...

Just a few thoughts from my half week in Michigan for LT and MJ's wedding:
For those of you that weren't able to be there, it was frickin' awesome.
I got to go on a tour of the Ford Rouge Plant. It was very interesting to see all the history in that ...

These pictures were taken one after another... All I did was change the Aperture from 2.5 to 8.0 (the exposure length was set to auto, so that probably changed too.)

My MacBook Pro came in today, and I moved into my new apartment. Exciting times.
Two observations:
1) The MBP is huge... this coming from a 12" Powerbook user.
2) The cabinets in my new apartment are not huge, and they have doors, and these little support posts that make the cabinets effectively ...

Ok, most are from the Motel room, but here you go:
(Reminded me of the evil salt eating away at my Volvo's all metal body...)
The view from my room... (probably should have put my car right there...)

I'm convinced my obituary will read:
Dwight Knoll Mr. Knoll died in a single car accident. He lost control of his car immediately after a series of violent sneezes and was found lodged against an abutment. He is survived by his friends and supporters at Oversneezers Anonymous.

I'm on a roadtrip right now. I started in St. Paul with a car full of all the junk that was in my apartment (except the stuff I left with Thomas and Kim in hopes that they may bring it down (or use it)). The plan was to make it ...

So you put in your itinerary… they show you the possible flights…
why do they suck?
1) they don’t tell you where the connections are (they just report: “(1) stop”, the 1 is linked to a page which details the stop
2) they don’t include airport taxes in the first price…
but that’s not ...
