I got a t-shirt the other day from the local Chick-Fil-a that lets me get a free chicken sandwich or 8-piece nuggets every time I go to that store with that shirt on (Until December 31st).

There was crying, there were solemn moments, but there were many more smiles and laughter.
My grandmama passed away last Sunday Morning, and we had her Funeral Yesterday. It was fun.
In his sermonette, the pastor told a story about how he came over to talk with Nancy (my grandmother) about funeral ...

...cures what ails ya...
I was recently (3 weeks, 2 days and counting) delivered from an habitual and continuing cycle of sin that had continued for about 10 years. The power of God operated through the 1, 2 punch of Confession and Accountability to destroy that cycle.
I heard about Confession ...

If you haven't seen any of these guy's movies, they are great. Every one I've seen anyway. My favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, but I haven't seen them all.
I'd really like to see Miyazaki and Pixar do something together (besides the Pixar intro to all the special editions of the ...

My friend Sir Robert got a Wii. It is pretty frickin' awesome. I have only played Wii Sports, and about 1 minute of the Zelda game.

My Sony Camera broke a while back.
Later I get an email that I almost delete that ended up being a notification of a class action suit against sony because their digital cameras break. I didn't do much with it for a while, but I decided to look at it the ...

If you liked Dustin Hoffman in I ♥ Huckabees, his character basically returns in this movie...
I love the Literature Professor who has taught a class on basically anything you can think of, and reads Sue Grafton through a plastic bag while lifguarding at the university pool.

So, I lost my iPod... it will either turn up, or it was stolen, or it will be stolen, where ever it is lost at, or something else that I haven't though of yet.
Until then, I consider my new iPod nano a business expense, since I use it (or will, ...

Here's How:
Bank of America has a thing called "Keep the Change." Basically they round every purchase up to the next dollar and kick the extra into a savings account (e.g. if you spend $1.40, you get billed for $2 and they put the $.60 into your savings account).
At the end ...

Interesting Film. I saw it with Sir Robert and Johanna last night. The flashback scenes in the movie are actually from a short film of the same name by the same director and writer.

Excellent book. I would recommend just about everyone read this.
Some quotations from chapter 5 "Confession and Communion":
"Confess your faults to one another" (Jas 5:16). He who is alone with his sin is utterly alone. It may be that Christians, notwithstanding corporate worship, common prayer, and all their fellowship ...

Just a few thoughts from my half week in Michigan for LT and MJ's wedding:
For those of you that weren't able to be there, it was frickin' awesome.
I got to go on a tour of the Ford Rouge Plant. It was very interesting to see all the history in that ...
