I have a particle board laminated desk, and the laminate isn't really waterproof, so I put my hot tea cup on it, and now have a raised ring (moisture got in and warped the particles)

Tea is basic, and an indicator. The darker it is the more basic, the lighter the more acidic (add lemon to iced tea? it gets lighter.)
I find that a good liter of tea will stand in as an alternative to pepto bismal.

A big thumbs up for roasted green tea. The stuff I have smells a lot like green tea with roasted rice, but has a different taste. As a bonus, the little wet roasted rice things don't stick to my filter. (But I still like the roasted rice...)The Republic of Tea ...
