Me update

Another me update for those of you that care.

I am in North Carolina, living with my friends Adam and Elizabeth Dawson. I was planning on taking 9 hrs. at South Eastern, but now I am instead taking 12 hours of online prerequisites (Old Testament in February New Testament in March, Christian Doctrine in April, and (not a prerequisite, but needed one more for 12 hours) Lutheran Confessions in May) for a MA in Christian Outreach (MACO) at Concordia University. So I’m pretty flexible.

Today I found a short term job that involves working out underwater for a study for the Navy. I will go and get a free physical examination and will be screened to make sure I am physically fit. If not, I get 30 bucks (and all the free exam stuff) if I am I get to come back later and do about 1 hour of work and 8 (ish) hours of other stuff (training and decompression after the underwater workout) for $300. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Thomas and Kim (brother and sister-in-law) were pretty excited to hear about me and MACO. They have vowed to find me a job and that I can live with them forever. We will see how that goes.

I ordered a MacBook Pro. It should come in in about a month (I’m hoping that is a conservative estimate, i.e. it will come in sooner) It will be nice to have a computer once again, especially one that is twice as good in just about every category than any previous computer I have owned.

I offered guitar lessons on craigslist (an online classified ad site) and have already received one response.

Transparency…

I’d like to think that I was a very transparent person. I’m trying hard to increase my transparency recently. So if you see me being opaque… call me out.

GTNC

I’m taking off to North Carolina for classes next semester. I will be going to South Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary as a non degree student. I picked this one because I have a friend going there already(Adam Dawson), and some other friends are going to be there. I know I will be taking Greek, but I’m not sure what I will take for the other hours.
