Good job google. I like the install process for Google Notifier (i.e. drag app from disk image to where ever I want). All your other applications' installers suck.
Save your crappy installation program for clueless windows users. Let us install by dragging and dropping.

So I went through my gmail address book selecting all the addresses I don't want popping up when I'm typing in an email address. I got about 128 addresses that I have sent an email too or (more likely) received an email from that I will probably never use again.

Google just announced Google Gadgets for Mac. I don't understand. The standard way to get dashboard widgets is to download them from wherever (direct from apple or just direct from the developer) and install them.
Google's way is to install software that I don't need (google desktop) in order to browse ...

So, Google has finally activated IMAP on my gmail account, so I'm giving it a try with Leopard Mail. It's kinda nice to be able to see my gmail archives w/o searching... We'll see how this goes.

Am I the only one having trouble sending mail with gmail recently?
In Safari and Firefox both, I push send, get a "loading" indicator, and then usually nothing else happens. If I push "stop" and then "send" once more, the message sometimes sends right away...
I just hope I'm not sending these ...

The new iPhone commercials look really good. I'm most excited about the ability to find a place nearby with Google and dial that number. My guess is that the iPhone locates you using cell phone tower triangulation. It wouldn't really even need triangulation. As long as you had a signal ...

Sometime today they stopped being friendly... I am using the web-based gtalk client in gmail, but it doesn't make any sound, so if you have AIM, contact me there if you need me badly. Otherwise email is (usually) working!
