Lots of Netflix DVD's have scratches on them. I don't get it. What are people doing ...

BBC's Panorama recently did a segment on Scientology, Which you can watch here (it is in 4 parts, that is the first part).
This, combined with how crappy Mission Impossible III was, has pretty much convinced me that I'm done watching Cruise movies until he is done with Scientology.
Some other interesting ...

If you haven't seen any of these guy's movies, they are great. Every one I've seen anyway. My favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, but I haven't seen them all.
I'd really like to see Miyazaki and Pixar do something together (besides the Pixar intro to all the special editions of the ...

Not a great screenplay, or very good acting, but there are lots of (I may be exposing how much I have forgotten) well done crew (i.e. rowing) scenes.

If you liked Dustin Hoffman in I ♥ Huckabees, his character basically returns in this movie...
I love the Literature Professor who has taught a class on basically anything you can think of, and reads Sue Grafton through a plastic bag while lifguarding at the university pool.
Strangely Firefox renders the ...

For the first time in a while I'm looking forward to some movies coming out...
Fearless starring Jet Li
Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig (looks like a different feel for a Bond movie? Maybe just wishful thinking, couldn't be worse than Pierce though...)
The Departed starring Jack Nicholson, Mark Whalberg, Matt Damon, and ...

Sorry Thomas and Charlene... here is my review:
Before Sunrise is My Dinner with André with a much less interesting conversation and a slightly more dynamic background.
Before Sunrise is like reading the blog and all the comments in that blog of a person in an emo band.

Anyone see the movie "Brick"?
I think I may have liked it during the time that I thought that things I did when I was in High School mattered.

Mary Swanson: "Well, that's pretty difficult to say."
Lloyd: "Hit me with it! I've come a long way to see you, Mary. The least

Interesting Film. I saw it with Sir Robert and Johanna last night. The flashback scenes in the movie are actually from a short film of the same name by the same director and writer.

I liked the first one... the second one is scattered and boring. Maybe it will be better once the second half shows up, but I cannot comprehend why such a shoddy movie is breaking so many records.

I really like Michael Crichton's books, but every single movie made from his books are horrible (Jurassic Park was alright as a movie, but having read the book, I expected much more. Every other movie has caused me physical pain.) John Grisham's books are alright, but the movies made from ...
