The Noticer

The Noticer is a very quick read. Andrews wraps up advice for various stages of life in a run-of-the-mill narrative. The advice ranges from insightful to questionable, so feel free to take what is good and leave the rest.
The book seems to be the sort of thing you give to someone for graduation that you don’t really know, so you hope that one of the illustrations applies to their situation.
As usual with Thomas Nelson hardcovers, the cover warped in the time it took me to read the book. I wish they would either use higher quality covers or just go with paperback.
As hard as I am being on the book, there are some good bits, and I tend to set the bar rather high. I know that there are some quality books that I end up not liking that much because of form and not because of content.
For what it is worth the book is categorized under “self-help” and it will help you about as much as your self is capable of helping you.
