It did not take hitting rock bottom to break me out of the “spend more than you make” trap.

I did get close to maxing out a credit card (with a $500 balance), and I was paying for it all through college. At the end, seeing that I had been paying 30 bucks a month and the principle was not going down I used some graduation money to pay it off and haven’t used credit cards since.

This isn’t really by my own strength though. It’s mostly the grace of God and my parents too :D
