I would agree with you that it overreacted a little bit--it read like the advent of the internet has doomed our attention spans--but yeah, there is a danger in spending too much time thinking in this information-inundation mode.

Did you read the article from the Atlantic that it references?  http://www.theatlantic.com/doc/200807/google .  It&#039;s a much more balanced look at the issue, not so quick to condemn, and more willing to speculate on its ramifications.  I recommend it.</description>
