I’ve read articles that show that *both* McCain and Obama’s current plans would increase the deficit. Which makes it a choice of, which initiatives are worth increasing the deficit more, universal government health care at home (Obama) or continued war in the Middle East abroad (McCain)? To my mind, neither candidate is concerned with the deficit as the number one priority. Not even top three. Nor are Americans, to my chagrin. In many recent polls, they (Americans) have stated other things as their top concerns. Which means, we are headed further into debt either way…
