Is the Beach Ball Gone?
October 28, 2007 – 12:04 pmSince upgrading to Leopard, I don’t remember seeing the spinning beach ball of doom at all…
I have seen the old skool ticking watch cursor though… (much less often than the beach ball before…)

Is the upgrade worth it? I have a two year old Powerbook so I’m not sure if I want to upgrade it or keep it one more year and then splurge on a new laptop. Or none of the above and keep using my laptop as is. Yeah, that’s probably what I’ll do.

It is pretty nice… I was having lots of slowdown issues in Tiger with my original MacBook 15″… Leopard seems to have solved some of that (which is why I noticed that I haven’t seen the beach ball of death)…
Time Machine is going to be awesome as soon as I can get another external drive…
Spaces is pretty cool (but slightly buggy)
It looks better…
I only had to pay $40 though because I did the family pack…
