June 5, 2007 – 2:36 pmThe new iPhone commercials look really good. I’m most excited about the ability to find a place nearby with Google and dial that number. My guess is that the iPhone locates you using cell phone tower triangulation. It wouldn’t really even need triangulation. As long as you had a signal from one tower, it could locate you better than a default home zip code which would be annoying to reset when you were traveling.
