Duckweed
June 4, 2007 – 10:03 amI have added some duckweed to my turtle aquarium… he likes munching on it, but it is supposed to grow quickly, so I hope it grows faster than he can eat :D
Update: The turtle didn’t eat all the duckweed, but did use his mouth to chop the duck weed up into tiny pieces… It remains to be seen if any of that will grow back.
I started a duckweed culture out in my garden, so maybe I won’t have to go down to the apartment pond every day and get more…

Second Update:
He ate it all… I don’t think I can keep him from doing that…
