Political Compass

Some of the questions were a little weird, the last one specifically: “It’s fine for society to be open about sex, but these days it’s going too far.” I can strongly disagree about the first clause and strongly agree on the last clause, but there is only one “answer” and I don’t know which clause it is applied to.
They have a graph of famous leaders, and none of them are in the same quadrant as me.

I’m interested in your view about being open about sex. It has been shown that those societies that are open about sex (not necessarily meaning that they are open to indecent behavior or such) are also lose that have less violence, especially towards women. Those societies that don’t talk about sex and are extremely private about it are also societies that are more focues on violence. What do you consider being open about sex? andwhy do you disagree with that?

Being open about sex = free and easy access to pornography, television shows that encourage multiple, out of wedlock, sex partners as the usual thing that everyone does and anyting else is prudery, and probably other stuff…
I don’t know a good way to do it, but I agree that keeping sex tied up (i.e. “security through obsurity”) does not work.

“promiscuous” was the word I was looking for and couldn’t find… just plug it in where there are long phrases that could be replaced :D
