Flock: Vatever
September 6, 2006 – 10:10 pmSo… I’m back to using Safari as my browser… It is taking a little bit of adjustment, but the only two things I did like about Flock (1. Integrated del.icio.us 2. Easy Flickr upload) aren’t enough to outweigh things like “Hey… I won’t make a new tab when you push command-T until you click on another tab… doesn’t matter how many times you push that, you ain’t gettin a new tab” and “No… I won’t make my spell check not suck.”
I really liked the del.icio.us integration… I bet I will tag fewer articles now, just because it is a little tougher to do. We will see. I might still launch it every once in a while to upload my pictures… It depends on if Flickr’s official uploader takes 5 freaking minutes to “check stored credentials” every time I try to use it…

Crud… Flickr Uploadr seems to throttle down the upload to 5KBps…

Hey Dwight,
Command-t should work fine. Did you try logging a support forum message? Our next major version will have inline spell checking, if that’s what you were looking for.
