Why I am a “single-issue knee-jerk thinker”
August 16, 2006 – 1:37 am…an open letter to the world. (Inspired by this post)
What follows are the unedited ravings of a pro-life lunatic.
• The best we can expect from a non-theocratic government (i.e. everything but the kingdom of God) is justice. (And we should expect that.)
• Reconciliation only occurs between the living.
• “Social Justice” issues are our responsibility, not the government’s. (Electing someone who will pay someone to do something is not doing that thing)
• Quality of life only comes into consideration when quantity of life is ensured.
Therefore, if I ever were to get off my lazy bum and vote, my first question of any candidate would be “Are you for or against murdering babies?”
Tell me why I am wrong.

Oh, no, you’re right. Preach on.
I’ll be one-issue and black-and-white with you: Life begins at conception, ends at natural death. (National security begins in the womb, I saw a bumper sticker say.)
