Toast vs. Finder

I’ve burned lots of disks with Toast (versions 5-7) and got quite a few media errors, proportionately more in DVD’s than CD’s.

I’ve burned about 5 DVD’s tonight from the Finder and haven’t had a problem yet.

So… Toast = better at detecting errors & Finder = poor quality control or Toast = bad program & Finder = good program?
