Flock is both a web browser based on Mozilla technologies and the name of the company developing the web browser. Flock’s creators call it a “social browser”, due to its ability to interact with popular social networking web services. Such web services include Flickr, Del.icio.us, Technorati, and various popular blogging and news aggregation services.

I’m giving flock a try. I decided the best way to do this is to make it my default browser and do everything from there. It uses the Firefox rendering (engine?) but it is very integrated into various social sites like flickr.com and del.icio.us.

I will keep y’all updated on how the transition goes.
