Google is not the Answer

May 2, 2006 – 10:28 am

Recently, in my job, I have been given the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time at a really nice health club. 2 days a week I get to workout (cardio machines/weight machines/etc.) and 2 days I get to swim (pool, sauna, steamroom, whirlpool).

My brother is “teh expert” on pronouncing sauna (”Sow (ow as in ouch)–nah”) and lives in Minnesota, a.k.a. saunaland.

A few weeks ago I was thinking: “I should ask my brother (no, actually I thought “Thomas” (because that is his name)) how to use these things (the sauna primarily, but all of them in conjunction, really). You know like what to do when for how long to maximize their effectiveness.” Then I thought: “What are they for anyway.” But that thought was quickly laid aside.

My next thought was: “He will probably just send me a like to this site (Warning, site contains profanity).”

Then, this morning, I asked said brother and got said response.

I’m going to post this, go to work, then I will come back and write why “Google is not the answer.”
