Theological Catchphrases Pt. II: Definitions

November 29, 2005 – 4:11 pm

This list is really catching my desire to write, so I went back through and tried to define each term.

  • I had a little trouble in forming each definition the same way. Some are short positive statements of doctrine, which I may or may not agree with (e.g. Trinity). Some are more general (e.g. Nature of Baptism). Some I wasn’t sure about, so I put a “?” after them and moved them to the end of the list. In these I either tried to define or not.
  • I also dropped the “inane” ones out, and I renamed “Important”: “Teir 1″ and “Not Important”: “Teir 2″
  • During the definition process, I decided to move some down (I also changed them in the first post)
  • My next step is to make a short post on each item on the list (maybe even some of the inane ones) and write out my beliefs on each term.
