Google hates scrolling…

… and I don’t know why. In Picassa and Google Talk, Google has 2 interfaces that would both benefit from a scroll bar. They don’t have it at all in Google Talk (probably to force you to use their search feature, with more than a few contacts, the application becomes unusable unles you use the search, ok, maybe I just found out why…) In Picassa, they replace it with a crappy scrollbar replacement. It wouldn’t be so crappy if they let you use scroll wheels (or the equivalent,) but they don’t, so it is (crappy.)

I grew up on a Mac, so I’m not used to this idea of searching. I understand that Google wants me to shift my paradigm, but I don’t want to.
