August 26, 2005 – 10:54 amI finished The Odyssey on Wednesday, just before Freshmen at SJC started on their first seminar on The Illiad. On to Meno! I gotta say that this stuff is really good the second time through, after 4 years of refering back to it and not really remembering it…
Also, for my Seminar in Theology class I read Let’s Study Theology which is a quick (100p) survey of Theology and Theological terms from a Lutheran perpective from the early church up untill about 1970ish… It’s not a bad read.
Also, I can’t remember the exact name, but I picked up a book that had 2 short stories by J.R.R Tolkien. I’d never heard of them, but they were both really good… I’ll post the title later.
I think that is all I’ve finished since The Illiad.
**Going back and reading my last “read” post, I have finished all those books I’ve mentioned… Well, I finished the first volume of Romance of the Three Kingdoms one more to go to get that one finished…
