Sideways

In a fit of movie watching that proved my complete lack of pop-cultural I.Q., I watched the movie Sideways (that’s the title, not the orientation of my head while I was watching it, although I have noticed that I have no trouble watching movies while lying in my bed with my head oriented in a horizontal sort of way…)
I have not seen the best picture winner (Million Dollar Baby) but I have seen Hotel Rwanda, which was not even in the same league as this pile of crap. The academy awards are worse off for allowing this movie to put on it’s cover “Nominated for 3 Academy Awards…” and now, if it won any “winner…”

Oh, come now. It wasn’t so terrible. Though I did enjoy it over a bottle of Pinot Noir, which may have made me less discerning…
