What do you do if you have a stack of RW’s and you want to erase them?

I have never really gotten into CD-RW’s. It is just easier to buy a big spindle of 100 CD-R’s. I use CD-R’s liberally, and still don’t run out of them very often… But If I did get into the RW trend, I’d go for this…
I think RW is actually kind of useless, since it doesn’t work like DVD-RAM.
In Toast, it says my drive is a DVD-RAM/CD-RW drive… I have tried burning to RAM, but it didn’t work… Anyone hear if Panther added this capability to 12″ PB Superdrives?
